Specialist Study 1 - Desert Scene

The try out my theory from my previous test, i decided to create a desert scene using 2D images in 3D space. I began by constructing my desert scene in photoshop.

 I began by taking a range of desert images from the internet. I kept in mind that i needed a foreground, middle and a background, and so i chose my images carefully.








I then began placing objects and blending them together creating a realistic desert landscape. I made sure that the image was sectioned of into different layers for when i moved the file into After Effects.




I also made sure that on each layer, i created more of the picture to replace where i had separated the picture into layers.

 

My Desert Scene turned out well, my problem with the the floating objects was fixed, and i feel like i have improved in using the 3D space to create more realistic landscapes.
